Daylist Social Media
Overview
Everyday experiences are often remembered through the music we associate with them. Inspired by the spontaneous sharing culture of BeReal and the childhood game Period., I created Daylist, a social media app that transforms music into a form of daily journaling. Users capture their feelings, activities, and experiences through song selections, creating a record of their day through sound rather than photos or text.
The resulting "Daylist" becomes both a playlist and a personal narrative, allowing users to reflect on their emotions and experiences through music. To bring this concept to life, I developed the brand identity and designed a high-fidelity prototype that demonstrates the app's core user experience.

Logo Development
To establish a clear connection between the brand and its music-focused experience, I explored ways to integrate the initials "D" and "L" with recognizable musical imagery, including vinyl records, CDs, and music notes.
The final logo combines the two letterforms into a single mark that subtly resembles a musical note, creating a distinctive and memorable identity for the app.
